Industry Veteran Joins Optima Telecom Inc.

Markham - Ontario/Canada, January 8, 2010 -- We are pleased to announce the appointment of Bill Dutcher to Optima's US sales and marketing team. An industry veteran with over 40 years of experience and proven track record in the North American telecommunications industry.

He has held senior positions in Qwest, Lucent, AT&T, Bell Laboratories and suppliers Wescom, Westell, Granger, DSC, Dantel, DPS Telecom, Sr Telecom and Telesciences. In his career he has demonstrated his skills in marketing, engineering, manufacturing, installation and sales management.

Bill is a licensed Professional Electrical Engineer, member of IEEE Association and a selected reviewer of the applications for the $7.5 billion BTOP Grant (Broadband Technology Opportunities Program). Bill is looking forward to expanding Optima's success in the US markets.
