The NetStream Series is the ideal tool for Virtual Private Networking, LAN extensions, or high speed Internet access. Bridging the gap between a single T1/E1 and costly T3/E3 access, the T:LAN NetStream bonds the bandwidth of two T1/E1 circuits to provide upwards of 3Mbit/s (T1) or 4Mbit/s (E1) of symmetrical throughput, either transparently or via IP and Frame Relay/ATM based backbones. Each model provides enhanced VLAN switching, pass-through VLANs, VLAN mapping, and selective tagging and untagging of VLAN packets.

Designed for network service providers, the T:LAN NetStream 242 DX is the first integrated access unit that allows you to directly plug-in industry standard T200 style HDSL, HDSL2 or HDSL4 modules. This ensures interoperability with your DSL vendor of choice.

Each model comes with a built-in four port 10BaseT/100BaseTX Switch, two T1/E1 network WAN ports, up to five RS232 interface ports, optional internal modem, Alarm I/O, and Expansion port (for future applications). DX versions include two slot positions that terminate industry standard T200 style HDSL, HDSL2, and HDSL4 modules. All units are available with AC and DC power options.
