RIO
Correctly Logs DC Inputs A/B Alarm Events
Recognized Dc Input A/b Voltage Level Alarms Are Not Always Logged
BACKGROUND:
Rev.3x/4x T:LANs (running OS versions up to and including BN7622) fail to log all DC Input A/B alarm events (if instrumented/enabled).
T:LAN OS BEHAVIOUR:
The RIO Node 0 correctly senses the crossing of the user defined DC Inputs A/B alarm thresholds. However the events will not always be logged in the RIO Event Log. As a consequence, no SNMP traps/notifications are being sent out following the detection of the actual event.
The units will only recognize and log the events when the T:LAN is re-booting or when the user re-enables the RIO handling.
AFFECTED UNITS:
All Rev.3x/4x T:LANs WITH instrumented DC Inputs A or B.
REMEDY:
Impacted units require a T:LAN OS update to BN7624 to guarantee proper DC Input A/B event logging.
Authorized users can now download the latest T:LAN OS firmware files via the Optima Cloud Storage.
NOTE: OCP operation is not impacted by the fixes/changes incorporated in BN7624
