Flexible I/O's For Your Network

Designed To Work With T:LAN's

The Perfect Teammate

Optima's RIO Remote Input And Output Modules expand the capabilities of a T:LAN.

Turn your units into a state of the art SNMP manageable network surveillance tool.

Provides modular alarm collection, flexible output control, and analog sensor measurements.

Small Footprint, Big Expansion

I/Os That Know How To Grow

Optima’s RIOs are small, modular alarm handling nodes. So you can deploy them right at the source, next to your alarms or sensors.

The RIO system keeps growing with your site requirements. RIOs can be daisy-chained, expanding the I/O capabilities as you go.

Total system capacity can go from just 32 to more than 220 contact inputs and from just 3 to more than 50 relay outputs.

Ready For Enterprises &
Service Providers

Compact. Distributed. Easy.

RIOs feature an ultra compact, distributed architecture. It allows them to mount close to the source of site alarms.

Install RIOs right next to BIX or MDF panels. Then run a single RJ45 cable connection between the T:LAN and RIO modules.

This single connection powers and links all the RIO modules. By daisy chaining, up to three RIO nodes can be added at any time to each T:LAN.

That is freedom to upgrade without disruption or downtime.

Complexity Mastered

Future Growth Potential

Not only can more nodes be added as your site requirements grow — each node can be upgraded if required.

A single RIO node either consists of just a base module alone, or a base module joined with an expansion module.

Broadcast Your Alarms

Be Heard

The Optima RIO system works with one or more SNMP managers. It simultaneously forwards alarms from any of the RIO nodes to any of the SNMP managers.

Configure each with unparalleled flexibility. This lets RIO adapt to any surveillance network architecture.

Forward individual alarms and control functions to specific SNMP stations.

The granularity of the parameter settings allows even the most complex configurations.

Right There Or From Far Away

Stand-Alone Local Visibility

Even when the site is cut-off or the network is down, you can still work with RIOs. Monitor the status of a site directly through the Optima T:LAN.

Access all of RIO’s monitoring and control functions through the RCC application.

Log in via RCC, TELNET or even more basic, the local Craft interface. The front panel status LEDs of the T:LAN and RIO nodes provide immediate on-site status readouts.
